Studio 2 is our Dolby licensed cinema room where we can mix commercials and trailers in 5.1 surround sound.

Dolby mixing for cinema is slightly more complicated than a regular TV mix, and will usually take longer. Also, film runs at 24 frames per second, but video runs at 25 frames per second. Our solution is to digitally stretch your 25fps Digibeta master to make it ‘cinema length’. This means that what you see and hear in your session is what will be seen and heard in a cinema. Of course this takes time, and we usually suggest that you send your pictures and audio elements to us before hand and allow at least the first half hour of the session for us to do this. You can then arrive for the fun part!!

Of course there are other ways of working, so to avoid any confusion we have a simple form to complete, which can be downloaded here. Just fill it in and email it back to us before your session starts to ensure there are no problems further down the line.
